A bar to Avoid...

Some time ago I decided to not subject my karaoke customers to CAREY'S IRISH PUB/aka MONREAL'S on 92nd & Bluemound Rd.  I had to pull my business out of there because whoever I work for reflects on me and my business. The unethical and sometimes illegal activities that take place there are nothing I want to be a part of. 
I was dealing with an unruly customer who I asked to refrain from yelling profanities at someone singing karaoke. He then told me he had the right to say whatever he wanted to anyone.  At that point I told him to leave the bar for yelling out “YOU FU##ING SUCK”  to one of my very regular customers who is one of the nicest people I have ever known.  This person still refused to leave and at this point the hired security just stood there, instead of the security asking him to leave he just stood there next to the guy while his friend began to argue with me his right to freedom of speech. The first person decided that was a good time to sucker punch me from the side. And still the hired security did not remove him from the bar.   
This first punch caused orbital bone fractures around my eye socket and cheek bone.   The first punch never should have happened if the security person did his job properly, but he barely spoke English and for all I know is in this country illegally.   He should have escorted this customer to the door by my request before the customer was allowed to get violent.   The bartender over-served him and security allowed him to get out of hand.   I went to the hospital right away for x-rays.   The bar manager never called the police because they didn’t want the police to know that this kind of thing happens there a lot.   2 days later I filed a police report and when the bar manager was questioned by the police he told a very different story than what really happened that night.   All to protect his job and the bar.   That was the day that I knew this place had no honor and no integrity. Funny thing is, I was the only sober person involved.   Also the bar manager SCOTT BUGGS admits to smoking marijuana and taking Vicadin that night.
1 month later I caught that same bartender on a recording telling the truth about what happened that night. That in fact what he told the police was very different from actual events. I obtained this recording in a public forum which makes it perfectly legal.  I encourage you to never go there again so we can legally expedite them on thier way to closing.   They don’t care who they let in.   Carey’s Irish pub (aka) Monreals, allows out of control behavior because its low class.   They allow underage students in from right down the road because they need to take in every dime possible.  I have seen these students spit thier chew all over the floor there right in front of the manager and he did nothing.  If that,s not desperate for business then what is.  
Also the current owner Debbie Ramirez has no respect for Law Enforcement being that she was pulled over awhile back for drunk driving and slapped the arresting officer.  She also choked one of the customers at the bar.  Is this the type of place you want to be seen at?  
When Frank Monreal ran the place it had some class, but now it’s just another dive. It’s only a matter of time before its shutdown.  I’ve noticed thier business drop off drastically in the past few months. Keep up the good work people.
